What’s The Difference In Feeling Between Lactic Acid Buildup In Legs And Stress Fractures?

When my legs ache, is it a stress reaction or lactic acid? How do I know the difference?

lactic acid soreness will hurt only when you run or exercise.
stress fractures will hurt without running especially when you touch it.

lactic acid problems can be solved as easily as a simple cool down run. if that doesn’t help you may want to get that looked at. it being a stress fracture is very unlikely. its more possible to be shin splints which can be prevented by lots and lots of stretching and running on soft surfaces.

Lactic acid builds up in your muscles. Stress fractures are in your bones. So if your calves hurt, its lactic acid. If the pain is coming from your bones, it may be a stress fracture.

it is because your sore but there is ways to fix that…
eat more protein and a workout once a week:
3×2 mile with a 4 min break in between then do a slow 1 mile jog after that
