I’ve been on klonopin for 11 years for panic/anxiety attacks, and am trying to gather as much info on methods used to control the attacks as possible so that I can eventually get off of it. I’ve tried the breathing exercises and have had no success–any other ideas?
I’ve been told I need to relieve stress. Ive started listening to soft music at bedtime, and thats helped. looking for some more ideas.
This is a high stress time. I’ve been diagnosed as depressed. Insomnia is really bad, to the point I dread going to bed. As soon as my head hits the pillow, my mind goes into high gear. Although I have a hard time losing weight normally, I’ve been dropping weight like you wouldn’t believe. Has anyone taken medications for problems like this, & was it effective? I finally got an appointment with the doctor this Friday. I’d appreciate recommendations from anyone. Thank you!
Going through a very, very, rough time right now and am having severe anxiety. Very close to a panic attack and I’m scared. My DR will not prescribed anything other than Prozac and that isn’t helping although taken for several years. Looking for something natural, (I will continue with Prozac) it’s the only way I can do this.
I just need to know some good stress relief. I’ve got unfair and overprotective parents, a pain-in-the-!@# 3 year old sister, lots of school, and alot more stuff, and all of it is very stressful. What are some good stress relief things that i can do, so that I’m not so stressed. And also as a side question, is stress bad for the body?
Doctor recommended Aleve for sinus relief. I’m prone to panic attacks. My sinuses are acting up, but I don’t want to take Aleve and end up with a panic attack. Any feedback on it? Does it make you jittery or does it mellow you out?
I wanted to know if you know someone or you your self has been helped with anxiety and mild panic attacks and some depression by taking PROZAC cause i currently am but i just began and my hopes are high.
Thanks to everyone who takes their time to answer i really appreciate it.
For those suffering from extreme levels of stress everything from relaxing to sleeping becomes nearly impossible. Does anyone know of herbal remedies, relaxation techniques or exersises that can be helpful?
