I went to the doctor with concerns over a brain defect I have. I have been experiencing more symptoms related to the defect and I wanted some tests to ensure that it isn’t getting worse. The end result of it worsening could be paralysis, so naturally I’m concerned. The first thing he said was that it must be stress causing my symptoms. Frankly I don’t feel that I am under any stress at all, I’m feeling pretty good about my life in general. The only stress I have is a doctor who doesn’t listen. I also live in an area where it isn’t easy to get a new family doctor. Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with a doctor who thinks that anything a woman complains about is in her head or due to stress?

Im getting a counsler, but she just feels like she is going to stop breatheing and that she is not getting enough air,but its just her anxiety. But she is scared to go to sleep , just like what should i do?
If its caused by the physical condition itself, like thyroid or harmonal then its best to use some form of medication. However being a panic sufferer for many years and not using any medication what so ever- I fought it on my own basically, mind over matter that sort of thing.
There are many forums and many sites about this terrible disorder. I am fine most days and my best advice to you is never avoid things because of fear of an attack. even if you think that you wont make it, you always will. Force yourself to do things as much as possible.
Good luck
Lately, along with ‘panic attacks’, I’ve been shaking fequently, and I’m often dizzy and pass out occasionally. Is this related?
Also, how do I cope with anxiety? What do I do when it happens?
Thanks to anyone who helps me.
If the stress test is normal, Does it mean there is nothing to worry about any heart problems near future?
I am unable to take a stress test on the treadmill. I have lung and asthma problems. What reactions should I expect from the chemical stress test?
I have pretty bad anxiety and panic attacks, even at home. Night time and mornings are absolute terror for me. Is anyone the same or similar?
