I started out taking prozac 20mg daily.. then it dropped to 10mg and now I am just taking 5mg and still doing very well. I might be considering taking medication off my life.

And it really depends if panic-attacks stay. You will considered to have a panic-disorder IF you have it many times for a long period of time. But please don’t worry, they can be handled and overcalm!

Is It Necessary To Have A Nuclear Stress Test Once A Year Following A Heart Attack?

My husband’s cardiologist wants him to have a nuclear stress test once a year for the rest of his life. He is 53. I have heard that they can be dangerous. Is this really necessary? Is there a better test for the heart?

the biggest problem is that i dont know WHAT is causing this. i dont have them all the time but it does happen. i get even more scared when i think about it and will break out in a cold sweat. it’s a vicious cycle. i hate the feeling. anyone gets it or knows what i’m talking about?

Is There A Way To Conquer Panic Attacks Once And For All?

I am 26 and have been having what I assume are panic attacks for 6 years. Unlike most other stories I have read on here, my attacks don’t really affect me physically, I don’t have problems breathing really, my heart may start to race, but that’s about it. Mine are all mental, it’s like a million thoughts rushing through your head at the same time and it’s enough to make you think your going crazy.
The first year was the worst, I used to get them almost every night. Gradually though it got less and less and I was determined not to let them dictate my life, because I love to travel. However, just last year I went backpacking in South America (I thought I could handle it) and got some of the worst attacks I’ve had. I quickly returned home and have been for the last year and feel really good at the moment but feel that maybe if I travelled again, they would start again, which is annoying because I feel as if I am so close to be being fully recovered. Anyone experienced something similar?
