Please lend me a helping hand…
Everyone keeps saying that the stress can affect your ability to conceive. Just wondering if anyone charting and doing all that you can do to increase your chance of getting pregnant actually conceived despite the stress of trying to conceive? Or did you only conceive after you have given up?
. Dave is under a lot of stress at his job and at home. He begins to feel discomfort and a burning sensation in his abdomen after a meal, and after consulting a doctor finds that he has developed a duodenal ulcer. He doesn’t understand how being nervous would cause ulcer, and asks you to explain. What you tell him?
I am under a _lot_ of stress right now, with a personal crisis and trying to adjust to college. Lately, I’ve just been feeling cold almost all the time. I’ll literally sit in my dorm room and shiver.
Do any of you get this sensation, it feels like you are on an elevator and it suddenly drops. This comes out of nowhere and only last seconds. It even happens when I’m not even stressed. I’m just wondering if I’m the only one. I’m not sure if it’s an anxiety thing or something else. What ever it is it’s horrible any advice would be appreciated!
i know meds work becuz i take clonopin. But does a psychiatrist really help?
My anxiety attacks start out with me feeling fearful. I then take my blood pressure and it would be 138 over 88 and my heart rate would be 104 this starts to scare me and I get a fear that I am going to die, I start to feel better that all of a sudden I feel it coming on even stronger . After its over I feel nervous for the next two days. This has happen in the past, had my heart checked out all is fine there. Just get these attacks and they scar the hell out of me.
Yes, if you keep convincing yourself you feel sick you will feel more sick. Your mind is really powerful.
My friend gets them all the time lately. He has always been a little nervous acting but lately he’s had to go to the hospital thinking he was having a heart attack. He’s only 22. Sometimes he has such a problem with depression he can’t sleep and will drink several beers until he falls asleep.
I want to give him some good advice. He just saw a counselor today for the first time.. haven’t heard yet what the doc did or prescribed.
Thanks in advance =D
I’m not under alot of stress or anything – just little things like school starting (getting back into the swing of things) and some other things. What are some things I can simply do to relax?
