I am doing a science fair project on the effect of music on stress. I was wondering if preferred music had a more positive effect on stress than classical or new age music. If it does, why would this be?
I just want to know other peoples experiences, either if you are the one suffering or your partner.
I went back to work last week and it has been relatively unstressful until Monday of this week, when lots of things happened in the office. Today my pumping has produced slightly less than normal. Just curious as to how quickly stress can effect production.
I’ve been very stressed out lately, and whenever something new happens to stress me out more, I get sick to my stomach. For example, my boyfriend had a panic attack, which stressed me out so much, I started vomiting. I’ve been so stressed that my period came early, and was quite short.
Is it normal for stress to effect my body so badly?
I take Byetta 5, glipizide 10 twice a day, actos 30 once a day…

I have had depression for about 18 years now but started getting panic attacks about 3 years ago – it happened at work & I didnt know what was going on I was working 24/7 rotating roster in my job in a call centre but after I had my baby I didint want to work nights any more – I was put into a completely different section but was given no training – I begged for training as I didnt know what I was doing and was geting things wrong all the time – my supervisors said I didnt need the training as my stats were perfect – anyway one day I answered a call and suddenly it was like the world slowed down and I sped up – I was scared I didnt know what it was – after that I was scared of it happening again and eventually couldnt walk into work at all – now I get them all the time only now I have adrenalin surges usually for no reason at all eg watching TV or just using the internet etc & I now need valium to make them stop – how are you effected & what do you do to end the attack?
Hi, my name is Alexamay and I’m doing a paper for School on Grade Anxiety/Student Stress. I wanted to get other student’s opinions, so I turned to this website, hoping to get some quotes for my paper. Does anybody suffer stress over grades? How does it effect your grades? Does stress negatively affect grades, or positively? If you have anything to say on this toppic, answer ASAP, please! Thank you ever so much for your help!
I have heard from many and in books that trying to hard to conceive could play negatively on your chances of trying to conceive. I’ve also heard that stress does to. But how exactly?
What exactly is wrong with trying to hard? Isn’t TTC stressful for most of us?
I am 33 and in very good health.
I workout and eat right.
My blood pressure has always been on the low side.
I have just been through a very stressful time in my life and all of a sudden my blood pressure has gone up to between 135 over 92 to 148 over 109 / I have checked it at different times over the past few days after having a nurse tell me it was to high durring a life insurance exam. Can stress do this?
I wonder if the re-routing of eight lanes of traffic onto four lanes would cause a stress factor of which the four lanes were not designed to with-stand. Thus causing, as in the case of the Minnesota I-35W , a collapse of the structure.
