Do any of you get this sensation, it feels like you are on an elevator and it suddenly drops. This comes out of nowhere and only last seconds. It even happens when I’m not even stressed. I’m just wondering if I’m the only one. I’m not sure if it’s an anxiety thing or something else. What ever it is it’s horrible any advice would be appreciated!

Panic attacks are cause by anxiety , so basically they are the same thing and they are nothing like you describe. What you describe sounds more like vertigo.Google “WEBMD” and search and you may get a better answer.Good luck.

Panic attacks or just high anxiety can cause that feeling. I have been living with this sensation for last 15 years. This exactly like how you described a slight movement and feeling of loosing control. But how can you be certain that it is the panic and anxiety. First you should talk to your general physician. Once everything else is normal then they will conclude its your anxiety. Even inner ear conditions could cause the kind of dizziness you mentioned. So please consult your doctor and if needed a psychiatrist and get evaluated. But remember panic can absolutely cause dizziness.

I am not a mental health professional, but yes, anxiety can cause symptoms such as you are describing. Also, know that you are not alone in the “weird symptoms” category. When you’re anxious, your body will interpret this and respond by flooding the body with various chemicals such as adrenaline, depending on the level of anxiety. Its meant to aid you in dangerous situations(ex the flight or flight reaction). Some people get light-headed, some feel extremely sick to their stomach, some have trouble thinking straight, and yes, some people can feel like they are falling or a sense of vertigo. The list of symptoms is extensive. You can even experience these symptoms when not stressed out. A sort of generalized anxiety. The human body is not designed to operate under prolonged bouts of anxiety. Also, keep in mind that anxiety is most often a learned behavioral pattern. You can modify your behavior to not have panic attacks. I hope this helps.

Do get some help with the panic attacks and anxiety. I know how much they can disrupt your life. There is a ton of stuff on-line about how to deal with anxiety. Try webmd or mayoclinic to start. Also, see your doctor to rule out any physical problems.
