I was treated with radioactive iodine, and am also now on Synthroid. However, I also have Generalized Anxiety Disorder with panic attacks and major depression. Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Who knows. But there are many other health and situational issues that can cause a panic attack. If your levels are okay according to the doc, then I would ask for a referral to find out if there is something else going on.
