I Get Anxiety Attacks And Feel Like I Am Going To Lose It.?

My anxiety attacks start out with me feeling fearful. I then take my blood pressure and it would be 138 over 88 and my heart rate would be 104 this starts to scare me and I get a fear that I am going to die, I start to feel better that all of a sudden I feel it coming on even stronger . After its over I feel nervous for the next two days. This has happen in the past, had my heart checked out all is fine there. Just get these attacks and they scar the hell out of me.

Your blood pressure and heart rate will go up during an anxiety attack. That is one of the symptoms. The attacks might be stronger because you have checked your BP, and it was high, which will cause you to worry more.
I have had anxiety attacks, and they are scary. I went to the ER via ambulance last year because I thought I was having a heart attack. That was the worst anxiety attack I’ve ever had.
You need to make an appointment with a Psychiatrist right away. There are medications that help with anxiety. Also ask to see a Psychologist for therapy. They can help you with anxiety management. I am going to start therapy this week.
Once you start treatment, you will feel better. Keep your chin up. God bless.

This happens to me too. You need to see your doctor to disucss anxiety – there is medication that can help with it. Counselling is also helpful because it can teach you techniques to deal with the anxiety. Anxiety is terrible but i’ve learned to take control of it. The best way to stop being scared is to arm yourself with as much information about anxiety as possible therefore when your BP goes up and so does your heart rate you will know exactly what is going on and it will be less anxiety provoking for you.
There is hope and you will learn to take control
