How Can I Stop From Ever Having Anymore Panic Attacks?

I have only been on this combonation of meds for a week but I’ve been battling this all my life. Is there any other way? Are there certain foods I should avoid? Anything else I can do?

You cannot just never have another panic attack. You have them so you have to learn some of your triggers and what helps you to deal with them. Foods do not have a part in these.

Unfortunately, I too, have been dealing with this my whole 28 years on this earth. I don’t think food has any real effect. I have seen many counselors, therapists, shrinks, you name it. I do have coping skills that I have learned from these people, but when I am having an attack, I can’t seem to use the coping skills. It is very sad, but the only thing that has seemed to work for me is the right combination of drugs. I wish it wasn’t that way, and I wish more people understood and didn’t judge. I know this may not be the answer you or anybody dealing with this wants to hear, but I have been on meds for like 10 years, and everytime I try to go off, there I am, back on them again soon. Good luck to you.

one practical suggestion that has seemed to work for me in the past is — if you are at home having an panic attack — immersing your upper back/neck/back of your head in hot bath water seems to work to stabilize and reduce the attack. now that may honestly be like a placebo effect for me personally, but the more i think about it, EVERY solution to a panic attack is like a placebo solution since the attack itself is unreal. sorry this is so poorly written, in fact i have just dosed my seroquel like 20 mins ago and i’m already feeling it. night.
