Panic Or Anxiety Attacks?

Did anyone ever have anxiety attacks fearing for the safety of their family? A few months ago I started worrrying obsessively about my sister. She is 18 and I became so afraid something would happen to her, I would get this weird horrible feeling come over me. It was so bad, I always worried about her but this was taking over my life. I couldn’t go anywhere, I was always calling her when she was with her friends. I am doing better now, I am on Effexor. I haven’t had any of those weird feelings since June, but I still worry about her and am afraid something bad will happen to her. I was just wondering if anyone else had a problem like this?

What Is The Main Drug That Physicians Prescribe For Panic Attacks?

Hello!
Generally, the first “family” of med’s that are used are called Benzodiazapines….such as Xanax, Klonopin, Ativan.
Then if time tells it isn’t sufficient alone. then usually an SSRI (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) “family” of med’s are added, such as Paxil, Zoloft, Wellbutrin. There is usually a good benefit by partnering these 2 family’s of med’s.

i am on medication and have seen several doctors but i am unable to be on my own which means i have to be baby sat at 27 years old its very degrading i am on incapacity benefit but am i entitled to any Other help please help i am now very desperate..
