Can Panic Attacks Cause Heart Attacks?

Whenever I’ve had one I always think I’m having a heart attack. I think this is normal(to think that), but could I ever really have a heart attack from a panic attack? Among other symptoms, my left arm always gets numb when I have one, so that’s why I always think it’s my heart.
I’m 23, in good physical shape, and have never been diagnosed with any heart problems. Am I just being crazy? Any words of wisdom on how to prevent panic attacks?

Panic attacks can be treated with medications,
if you want a quick solution that some have
testified as removing their problem of nocturnal
panic attacks, then try get some options from
your doc.
For your sleep, there are options as I’ve experienced
myself, double your pillows, get some flowers or
plants in your room to regulate extra pure air,
and make sure you have a clean glass of water
next or somewhere near in your bedroom to rehydrate
your systems to go back to sleep.
I got my heart done with an ekg, there were some
irregularities, three that night, which mine varied from
at most seven to one. but they’re gone my panic attacks,
i’ had them for about three to four months, so it
is possible to just endure them, but check it out
with a doctor you’ll get a lot of questions answered.

Unless you have a heart condition, panic attack CANNOT cause you to have a heart attack.
It can feel unnatural because this type of heart activity is usually reserved for vigorous activity, when you don’t notice it as much. Hence, people start to associate it to heart attack…when it just isn’t!
Since you have never been diagnosed with any heart problems you should be fine.
If you are worried about this, see your doctor again. BUT, if he give you the all clear sign, PROMISED that you will not worry about this issue again!
To answer you last question. NO, YOUR NOT CRAZY!
The only way to get rid of you’re panic attacks is to confront them, don’t run or hide from them.
Panic attacks feeds on your fears and anxiety. If you didn’t fear the way you feel, then you would have no more panic attacks.

The key to surviving a panic attack, for me anyways, was admitting I was having one and it was ok. That my heart was not going to explode out of my chest and I wasn’t having a heart attack, it was just a panic attack. Just tell yourself it’s a panic attack and get control of your breathing.
You really should seek out a doctor, you can get meds that can help this.

I’m sure you know that Panic Attacks have all the warning signs of a Heart Attack, and shouldn’t be taken lightly. You really need to go to your Family Physician and tell him about these episodes. There is medication that can prevent/lessen the effects of the symptoms that are making you afraid.
You can actually get so scared from a Panic Attack that your blood pressure will elevate and you could get into trouble. Don’t procrastinate seeing your Dr.

I have been suffering from panic attacks now for 10 years. I have read many books on this disorder. They all say the same thing. That no one has ever died from having a panic attack.
